RIVER CHURCH RESIDENCY PROGRAM
At River Church, we believe the local church is God's primary plan for reaching the world with the gospel. The River Church Residency Program exists to raise up faithful, humble, and mission-minded leaders who want to grow in real, hands-on ministry.
Residents serve alongside our team, invest in the life of the church, and gain practical ministry experience in a growing, gospel-centered church in Northern Colorado. Whether your calling is pastoral ministry, worship, student ministry, kids ministry, outreach, or church planting, this residency is designed to help you grow in character, competency, and conviction. You won't simply observe ministry, you'll step into it.
Through intentional mentorship, leadership development, and real responsibility, we desire to help you clarify your calling, sharpen your gifts, and deepen your love for Christ and His Church. DISCLOSURE:
Support-Based Residency:
River Church residents are responsible for raising their own financial support. Residents are not employees of River Church and are responsible for securing personal funding to cover living expenses during their time of service. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Child Protection & Background Checks:
Because residents serve in ministries that include children and students, all selected residents must successfully complete a background check, complete Ministry Safe training, and comply fully with River Church’s child protection and safety policies.
Doctrinal & Mission Alignment:
River Church is a Southern Baptist church. All residents must affirm and operate in alignment with our statement of faith, mission, and leadership standards.
